What drew Alice to the cosmetology industry? “It was the creative aspect of it and being able to work with my hands in a friendly atmosphere where they played good music all of the time. The salon atmosphere is the best.” With experience in the industry since 1978, Alice worked in salons and as a beauty school instructor before becoming a director of former sister school Colonna in 1989 then an owner/director of Orlo in 1995.

She loves seeing new people find a profession in which they can feel comfortable and can grow. It’s rewarding. Cosmetology is a journey and it’s always changing. You’re always learning new things and meeting new people, and she loves every minute of it.
