The 16^th annual Radiothon to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center raised $648,493! Students and staff of The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology took the day to support the Children’s Hospital by hanging out with the kids. Adding a dash of beauty and fun, there was face painting, manicures, arts and crafts and even Batman and Disney Princess tattoos! The students also had the opportunity to take phone calls for donations. To top it off Instructor, Ms. Kennedy even shaved some heads for the cause! One “shavee” raised $10,000, and in return shaved her head! To hear the stories of these children was truly inspiring for our students and staff. Orlo extends a HUGE hug and thank you to the kids at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. We are looking forward to the next Radiothon!
