Andrew was born into the beauty industry. Having grown up in Albany at The Orlo school of Hair Design & Cosmetology, being a hairstylist was low on his list of passions and career ambitions. It wasn’t until he started working full time at the school that he realized the impact of the beauty industry. “Beauty changes lives, and it has certainly changed mine. Ever since I started working at Orlo, I’ve become a whole new person. I was one of the shyest kids growing up. Being in this industry quickly changed that, as it truly brings you out of your shell. Hairstylists touch peoples’ lives, we give people a sense of self confidence through the power of appearance enhancement. When you look good, you feel good. Everyone excels when they feel good!” Andrew eventually enrolled in Orlo’s cosmetology course and became a licensed cosmetologist in September 2011. “I look forward to being the future of my parents’ long history and keeping up the tradition of the family business here at Orlo.”
